Animated Poetry

Poetry is not really in the air these days, so a little rejuvenating session of the art could not hurt: thanks to a dear friend, I found out about Elizabeth Hobbs and her poetic animated movies, made with watercolors on tiles. This link is today's precious gem and little magic, to be watched over and over, while soft summer raindrops fall outside your window. Do not forget your dose of humor, since you will learn about a new chapter in History and Napoleon's life - definitely worth the trip down animation lane. Her watercolors are literally alive and bouncing on the screen under the delicate strokes of her paintbrush. Every scene comes alive also thanks to the magic voice commenting the episodes and leading the viewers through a very particular vision of History.

And if you want to go further down that lane, you can enjoy a few other magic moments with Elizabeth's imagination on her Internet site.

Enjoy the show!
